Action entrepreneuriale

L'action entrepreneuriale fait référence au comportement d'un individu agissant en réponse à une prise de décision en situation d'incertitude (un jugement entrepreneurial) sur la possibilité ou non de réaliser un profit. Cette vision tend à concevoir les entrepreneurs comme des agents du changement catalysant l’économie. Bien que motivée par un intérêt personnel, l'action entrepreneuriale n'est récompensée que dans la mesure où elle crée une contribution perçue par les consommateurs comme appréciables comme des solutions existantes pour leurs problèmes actuels.

Par conséquent, pour devenir entrepreneur, les individus doivent sortir de l'ignorance c'est-à-dire découvrir, créer ou imaginer une solution potentielle, mais qui n'existe pas encore actuellement. Ils doivent surmonter l'incertitude (doute) qui peut les retarder ou les empêcher de présenter leur innovation sur le marché. Cela implique l’évaluation d’une situation en tant qu’opportunité comme s'ils se parlaient à la troisième personne. Ils doivent être convaincus qu’une situation est une opportunité pour au moins une autre personne. Et, ils doivent évaluer cette opportunité, comme si elle était conjuguée à la première personne du présent proche.

L'action humaine est, par sa nature, intrinsèquement hiérarchique. Autrement dit, chaque fin peut être, sans doute, le moyen d'atteindre une fin supérieure jusqu'à ce que l'on atteigne un objectif le plus élevé quel qu'il soit pour un individu. Ainsi, la terminologie des moyens et des fins dépend fortement de la compréhension des objectifs des individus engagés dans toute action entrepreneuriale ou autre[1].

Pour qu'une action entrepreneuriale se produise, l'individu doit croire qu'une situation représente une opportunité à la première personne. Le profit est souvent une validation de la véracité de cette croyance. La caractéristique qui définit l’approche de l’action entrepreneuriale est donc la création de nouvelles valeurs et le changement institutionnel qu’elle crée en conséquence de son apparition.
