Wendy McElroy, née en 1951, est une disciple canadienne de Murray Rothbard. C'est une anarcho-individualiste et une anarcho-féministe. Elle a écrit Queen Silver : The Godless Girl. Bien que Silver était une anarchiste d'extrême-gauche, entre elles le respect mutuel n'a jamais faibli, en dépit de ces grandes différences politiques. Il est également membre du réseau de la faculté "FEE" (Foundation for Economic Education).

Elle affirme que l'anarcho-capitalisme est le digne et unique héritier de l'anarcho-individualisme du XIXe siècle.
