Wendy McElroy, née en 1951, est une disciple canadienne de Murray Rothbard. C'est une anarcho-individualiste et une anarcho-féministe. Elle a écrit Queen Silver : The Godless Girl. Bien que Silver était une anarchiste d'extrême-gauche, entre elles le respect mutuel n'a jamais faibli, en dépit de ces grandes différences politiques.

Elle affirme que l'anarcho-capitalisme est le digne et unique héritier de l'anarcho-individualisme du XIXe siècle.
