Cato Institute

Le Cato Institute est un think tank libertarien américain, fondé en 1976 à San Francisco par Edward H. Crane et Murray Rothbard. Il est dirigé de 1985 à sa mort par William Niskanen. Selon le 2015 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report il est le 11ème think tank le plus influent au monde [1] et le 6ème aux États-Unis [2]
Prix Milton Friedman pour l'avancé de la liberté
Il décerne tous les deux ans un prix Milton Friedman à la personne ayant selon lui fait le plus avancer les libertés dans le monde.
