Cento G. Veljanovski est chercheur à l'Institute for Economic Studies en Droit et en économique et chercheur associé associé à l'Institut d'études juridiques supérieures, de l'université de Londres. Il est également Dirigeant partenaire de la société "Case Associates".

Auparavant, il était Directeur de la rédaction à l'Institut des Affaires économiques (1989-1991), puis Chargé de cours en droit et en économie, à l'University College de Londres (1984-1987). Il a continué sa carrière comme chercheur au Centre d'études socio-juridiques à Oxford (1974-1984). Il a occupé plusieurs postes universitaires au Royaume-Uni, en Amérique du Nord et dans les universités australiennes.

Spécialiste de l'analyse économique du droit, il fut le premier économiste nommé à un poste d'assistant dans un département de Droit dans une université britannique. Il a écrit de nombreux livres et articles sur l'économie industrielle, la réforme économique, la privatisation et l'analyse économique du droit.
