Dépendance au sentier

La théorie du sentier de dépendance a été initialement élaborée par Paul A. David pour expliquer les processus d'adoption de la technologie et l'évolution de l'industrie. Ces idées théoriques ont eu une forte influence sur l'économie évolutionniste de Richard R. Nelson et de Sidney G. Winter et sur la théorie de la complexité.
