GR Steele ou Gerry Steele est professeur d'économie à l'université de Lancaster (Grande Bretagne). Ses domaine d'intérêt portent sur la philosophie politique et l'économie de Friedrich Hayek. En s'appuyant sur le Prix Nobel d'économie de 1974, GR Steele remet en évidence la conclusion de Friedrich Hayek. La science économique ne doit pas se fourvoyer dans la présomption scientifique de formuler des relations significatives entre des agrégats et des moyennes.
