Anthony J. Evans est professeur assistant d'économie au MEB London, la filiale de l'école européenne de management de l'ESCP‐EAP où enseigne également Philippe Nemo. Il est né le 8 février 1981 à Yorkshire en Angleterre. En dehors de sa passion pour l'économie et la pensée libérale, il est arbitre officiel auprès de l'UEFA.
Il est diplômé d'économie financière de l'université de Liverpool (2002) et d'économie de l'université George Mason (MA en 2005 et Ph.D. en 2007). Il a soutenu sa thèse sous le thème de “Subjectivist Social Change: The Influence of Culture and Ideas on Economic Policy" sous la direction de Peter Boettke. Ses domaines d'intérêt portent sur la politique monétaire, les fluctuations macroéconomiques, la culture organisationnelle, l'économie de la transition, l'entrepreneur organisationnel et la théorie des dénonciateurs (Whistleblowers).
