Lowell Busenitz

Lowell W. Busenitz enseigne des cours d'entrepreneuriat au Price College of Business, of Management and Entrepreneurship, à des étudiants aux niveaux du premier cycle, du Master et du doctorat à l'université d'Oklahoma, à Norman, aux USA (Chair Michael F. Price). Auparavant, il était professeur assistant à l'université de Houston (de 1992 à 1998).

Lowell Busenitz fut diplômé en Business (BS), à l'Emporia State University (Kansas), en 1975 poursuivi par un MBA dans la même université en 1987. Il a obtenu son doctorat (PhD) à l'université du Texas A&M en 1992.

Il a encadré et conseillé de nombreuses équipes étudiantes dans leur développement de business plans pour la création de start-up. La recherche de Lowell Busenitz se concentre sur la façon dont les entrepreneurs prennent des décisions, le développement de nouvelles opportunités par la vigilance pour la création d'entreprise et l'obtention de ressources afin de les transformer en capacités dynamiques dans les startups. Il fait partie d'un groupe restreint de chercheurs ayant une réputation établie dans le domaine de l'entrepreneuriat et il est l'un des 10 spécialistes de l'entrepreneuriat les plus cités dans le monde. Ses recherches sont apparues dans les principaux journaux de gestion et d'entrepreneuriat.
